Clinical Research Coordinator (Hybrid Opportunity) at Stanford University summary:

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing IRB protocols, assisting with recruitment, data management, and contributing to scientific publications. The role requires strong communication, project management skills, and familiarity with research methods and data analysis tools.

The Center for Responsible and Effective AI Technology Enhancement of Treatments for PTSD (CREATE) at Stanford is seeking an enthusiastic full-time research coordinator to help coordinate research projects using large language models to support psychotherapy. The CREATE Center is developing AI tools to improve the deployment and dissemination of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) for PTSD and other mental disorders.

This role is ideal for someone seeking experience in research-related project management and administration , and who is a skilled, efficient writer and quick, effective communicator. The ideal candidate is interested in research and plans to pursue a PhD (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or a related field (with an emphasis on research, rather than clinical practice).

For highly motivated candidates, this position may offer the opportunity to co-author publications in relevant fields (e.g., psychology, public health, or computer science) – a valuable component of applications to graduate school.
