Job Description

As a Welder, you will carry out welding operations to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components using materials such as mild steel and processes including MAG, MAG PULSE, MIG, TIG, FCAW, and GMAW. You will interpret technical drawings and welding specifications to ensure a high standard of work across a variety of precision components. Your role also involves material preparation, equipment set‑up, quality inspections, ownership of maintenance, and participation in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) routine.

Safety is paramount, and you will support the company’s "Home Safe Everyday" and "Target Zero" policies.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in welding within automotive or rail industries
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes (MAG, TIG, MIG, etc.)
  • Knowledge of welding standards (AWS D1.1, ISO 9606‑1 desirable)
  • Experience with non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods
  • A keen eye for quality and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to support overtime as needed
  • A safety‑first attitude
