Product Finisher - Tanfield Lea At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Product Finisher to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing sector in Tanfield Lea. This role is essential for managing the final stages of food production, ensuring that all items meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Shift patterns:
* AM and PM shifts:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
* Night shifts:
Sunday to Thursday, 8 hours per day. Pay rates:
* Days £12.98 hourly.
* Nights 14.46 hourly. Essential requirements for Product Finisher:
* Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow health and safety procedures. Desirable requirements for Product Finisher:
* Experience in a bakery or chilled food production environment.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or
2).
* Familiarity with quality control checks, production line work, and HACCP principles.
* Strong communication, teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude.
* Ability to work rotating shifts or flexible hours. Role for Product Finisher:
* Assemble, decorate, portion, and package food products according to specifications.
* Perform regular quality inspections and labelling tasks.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene in line with food safety regulations.
