Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Part 147 Technical Training Instructor to join the Engineering Training department. We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation and interested in teaching a wide range of aircraft engineering topics to our staff, whether they are at the start of their career or at the top of their profession.

This role involves promoting training and acting as an ambassador for the highest standards we maintain.

• Delivery of all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards, including:
  • Delivery of Part 147 theoretical and practical training
  • Meeting EASA/UK CAA instructor requirements
  • Delivery of specialised type‑specific training
• Preparing technical training and improving our current courses
• Developing instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)
• Being conversant with EASA regulations and ensuring regular review of all procedures and regulations relevant to the training courses delivered
• Developing and approving training material using various delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual, etc.)
• Delivering technical training in a practical manner
• Maintaining and developing the training centres for further learning enhancements across all levels of training
• Demonstrating a hands‑on attitude
• Displaying strong organisational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training programmes to meet the above‑mentioned requirements
• Communicating clearly, both written and oral, and presenting effectively

• Must hold a UK/EASA Part§66 licence, an aerospace engineering degree, or evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training.
• Hold Part§467 type certificates on B737NG
  /B737 MAX aircraft.
• Instructional experience in a Part§467 training environment or Part§66 AML with B737NG
  /B737 MAX type endorsement is an advantage.
• Experience in aircraft engineering and working physically on the aeroplane.
• Experience reviewing regulations/compliance‑based procedures.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to raise issues to management.
• Ability to plan and work to deadlines set by management.
• Good working knowledge of Office 35 and a willingness to learn new programmes/software tools.
• Ability to critique non‑compliance constructively and report to management.
• Effective communication skills across all types of communication (verbal, face‑to‑face, virtual).
• Open‑minded, eager to learn new skills, and bring new ideas to the team.
• Strong work ethic, responsibility for timely completion of own work.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to seek and find solutions and present them to management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be happy to travel as required.
