Level 2 NDT Technician

Morgan Ward NDT Ltd is Europe’s largest provider of on-wing NDT support, and one of the world’s leading providers of Non-Destructive Testing services to the aerospace and general engineering sectors.

The Morgan Ward NDT group originally began as a small fish in a big pond; with tireless dedication and commitment from its employees, the business now stretches across the UK and Europe: the world is our oyster! With its main bases situated in Prestwick, Manchester and Stansted, and satellite sites dotted across multiple locations in the UK, too, Morgan Ward NDT is able to provide unparalleled support to its wealth of customers.

The group also spans across the EU, including permanent bases in Poland, Lithuania, and Germany – to name just a few – providing unmatched support to one of our largest accounts, a well-known commercial airline, as well as providing general support across Europe to look after our other valued customers.

With the company’s phenomenal success, rapid expansion, and the very real vision and hunger for growing our operations further, there are exciting opportunities for experienced L2 NDT Technicians to join the company’s exceptional NDT team in the UK. Our team is nothing short of the finest in its field, comprising the NDT ‘elite’ and the very “best of the best”. Our ethos is “work hard and reward well”, ensuring that our technicians always fulfil personal growth and achieve their fullest potential, while being financially rewarded with competitive rates and valued throughout.

We’re interested in speaking to keen individuals with the following skills and experience:

* Possess experience of a minimum of 3 methods, working in accordance with EN 4179 to L2 in PT, UT, ET (additional MT and RT would be a bonus, or even IRT)

* Proven background in aviation NDT from working in a Part 145 organisation and working to aerospace specifications

* Ideally experienced in both line maintenance and heavy maintenance NDT inspections

* Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

* Exceptional communication skills, great attention to detail, and confident skills in accurate paperwork

* Ideally possess knowledge and hands-on experience of working with a variety of aircraft.

The opportunities to travel (near and far) are endless at Morgan Ward NDT, and all of our technicians have periods of working away from home, so we ask that anyone interested in applying is willing to do the same to be a true team player. Unsociable hours are the nature of the beast in this field, so you’ll also be expected to work some weekends and night shift, too.

Since we have bases situated in all corners of the UK, we welcome hearing from you wherever you may be located, but we do ask that you have the right to work in the UK, and that there are no restrictions on your ability to travel.

In return for your exceptional on-wing NDT knowledge, Morgan Ward offer structured career progression, with opportunities to achieve your Level 3's, along with unrivalled in-house support and endless opportunities to get in the thick of some incredible projects. A very realistic OTE of £60k-£65k is on the table, along with use of a company vehicle at each site (when available), BUPA, enhanced company pension (5%), and a variable discretionary company bonus, too.
