Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead all accounting and financial operations within a growing, international business. This hybrid role requires presence in the office near Stansted 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls experience to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making.

• Lead and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
• Manage monthly and annual close processes
• Prepare and present management accounts, P&L, cash flow statements and variance analysis
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and support group consolidation reporting
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT-UE declarations and local tax regulations
• Develop and strengthen financial controls and cost management processes
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, OPEX and CAPEX analysis
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital and banking relationships
• Support external audits and regulatory compliance
• Provide financial insight to senior leadership to drive performance and efficiency

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager / Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax compliance
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
• Experience with intercompany reporting and consolidation
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
