Optime Group in partnership with a well‑known Logistics Company located at Stansted Airport are looking to add to its growing team of Delivery Operatives serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.

What's on offer
  • Location:

    Stansted Airport
  • Rate of pay: £13.81 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (You must be flexible with the days you can work)
  • Shift times:
    Must be flexible to work between the hours of 02:00 am to 15:00 pm
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Weekly Pay
  • Temp to Perm (performance‑based)

  • 14th May 2026
Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently transport stock from the designated delivery point to the required areas within the airport.
  • Use manual handling techniques to move goods, ensuring safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Assist with the organisation and storage of stock in the correct locations.
  • Work collaboratively with site teams and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and report any stock shortages, damages, or delivery issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work to time deadlines, ensuring stock is delivered promptly to support renovation schedules.
  • Adhere to airport security protocols and access procedures at all times.
  • Provide flexibility to support wider logistics and renovation requirements as directed by supervisors.
Requirements

In addition the above we would prefer the applicant to possess some or nearly all of the below attributes:

  • Previous experience in a manual handling or stock movement role is desirable, though full training will be provided.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out lifting and transporting tasks safely.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices, particularly within busy or restricted environments.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible attitude to adapt to changing site needs during renovation works.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with supervisors, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to pass airport security clearance checks.

As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5‑year checkable history.
