Our environmental service client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting and Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and grow their career. The Senior Accountant will assist the Corporate Controller in preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling accounts, supporting audits, and analyzing data across multi‑entity operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and professional expertise to ensure sound financial practices.

• Oversee monthly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Analyze and prepare entries for assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
• Reconcile inter‑company accounts and general ledger balances.
• Manage fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures.
• Support annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Record banking activity, prepare bank reconciliations, and track lease schedules.
• Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and recommend improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and account reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
