Job Overview

Delaware Technical Community College is seeking an Academic Support Assistant-Testing Center (Stanton) to provide academic support to students in the Testing Center with evening hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the smooth functioning of the Testing Center, assisting instructors and students, and providing tutoring and testing services.

• Set up the Testing Center, including ordering and preparing necessary materials and equipment.
• Coordinate schedules of faculty members and tutors in the center for tutoring and/or testing.
• Schedule students for tutoring and/or testing appointments and ensure appropriate coverage in the center.
• Provide assistance to students in the Testing Center and inform them of the appropriate procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing and tutoring materials, records, and data.

• Associate degree in a relevant field and two (2) years of relevant experience; or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of teaching methods and techniques, as well as relevant subject matter in the particular discipline.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
