Pet Care Attendant

We are a well-established and respected boarding, training, daycare, and grooming facility in OC, with over 25 years at our current location.

We currently offer evening and weekend shifts, which may include days during the week and Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts typically start at 1:45 pm and end around 9:00 pm. Evening and weekend shifts include a salary differential above base pay.

Availability to work Monday through Friday and weekends is required.

If you are the right fit, you will:

• Love animals, especially dogs, and have at least 1 year of experience
• Have a steady work history with excellent references
• Pay attention to detail
• Understand the importance of quality and safety
• Be willing to feed and exercise dogs, clean enclosures, and do laundry
• Enjoy working as part of a team and get along well with others
• Be dedicated to the animals under your care during work hours
• Not mind hard work or working outdoors
• Be willing to work on holidays or as needed

Prior animal experience is preferred but enthusiasm for working with animals is equally important. Training will include cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment, feeding and exercising protocols, and understanding dog behavior and body language during interactions. This is a labor-intensive role requiring standing and outdoor work.
