• Collect and organize shopping carts, retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and loading vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelves and pull merchandise from check stand, returning to shelves.
• Walk aisles and return misplaced items to proper location; face merchandise as needed.
• Monitor cleanliness of store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash, mop outside walkways, and clean entrance/exit doors daily.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout the store: sweep, mop, clean, and restock restrooms as needed.

• Read and write English, interact with public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
