. We are looking for passionate, upbeat individuals who can help new members reach their fitness goals while maintaining our Judgement Free Zone® environment.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to properly and safely use the equipment.
• Help promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance and showing support while upholding club policies.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and quickly address issues.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist with front-desk related activities, such as answering phones, checking members into the system, facilitating new member sign-up, touring prospective members, and updating member accounts.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club: clean and sanitize equipment and spa amenities; perform comprehensive walk of all club areas; ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter‑free.
• Assist in maintaining the overall safety and compliance with club policies.

• Previous fitness trainer/instructor experience preferred.
• Nationally certified training certificate required.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Strong punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening and problem‑solving skills.
• Passes diplomacy in interactions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
• Position changes: bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, twisting.
