About the Middle School Principal Position

We're seeking a dedicated, student-centered Middle School Principal to lead our school community. The principal will provide strong instructional leadership, foster a positive school culture, and ensure academic excellence while supporting both students and staff during the critical middle school years.

Middle School Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional and administrative leadership for a middle school serving diverse learners
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate school-wide academic programs aligned with district and state standards
  • Supervise, support, and evaluate teachers and staff, promoting professional growth and collaboration
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment for students, staff, and families
  • Oversee student discipline and behavior management, ensuring fair and consistent practices
  • Collaborate with teachers to analyze student data and improve instructional outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with parents, district administrators, and community stakeholders
  • Manage school operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and accountability requirements
Middle School Principal Requirements
  • Master's degree in educational leadership, Administration, or a related field
  • Valid state administrative/principal certification or licensure
  • [2] years of experience in education, including teaching and/or school leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum, instruction, and adolescent development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to equity, student achievement, and continuous school improvement
