Maintenance Tech Team B

Join the Maintenance Tech Team B at Coherent Corp and help keep our production line running smoothly. This role is based in Coherent Corp and offers a dynamic work environment with engineering leadership.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr – $35.00/hr

• Preventative maintenance, repair, installation, testing, and calibration of production equipment.
• Trouble‑shoot mechanical and electrical faults to component level.
• Perform routine periodic testing of equipment to ensure key components function properly.
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to improve equipment performance and quality.
• Maintain records for equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
• Perform minor facility repairs including plumbing and electrical work.

• Technical AA degree in general engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing repair and maintenance experience with power tools, lifting, measurement/diagnostic tools, and precision measurement methods.
• Understanding of technical drawings and basic engineering principles for repairing and maintaining production equipment.
• Hands‑on, direct approach to solving production problems and meeting production demand.

• Proficient computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective collaboration with other team members.

Depending on location, this role may be responsible for execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other applicable quality and environmental management system standards.
