Maintenance Technician TEAM B is responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, installation, testing, and calibration of production equipment. The role works with engineers and production personnel to modify and improve equipment performance, supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Systems, and performs minor facility repairs as needed.

• Provide preventative maintenance, repair, installation, testing, and calibration of production equipment throughout the company.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems in mechanical and electrical areas, down to individual components.
• Perform routine periodic testing of equipment to ensure key components are functioning properly.
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to modify and improve equipment performance to ensure high quality.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Systems.
• Keep and maintain records for equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
• Perform minor facility repairs including plumbing and electrical work.

Technical AA degree in general engineering or equivalent industrial experience.

5+ years of applicable experience in a manufacturing setting related to repair and maintenance of production and testing equipment, using power tools, lifting, measurement/diagnostic tools, and experience with precision measurement methods.

Understanding of technical drawing and basic engineering principles to repair and maintain production equipment and lead others to provide solutions.

Hands-on and direct approach to problems and needs of production demand.

• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other members of II-VI A&D or similar teams.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
