Salary: $72,914 - $106,348 annually (including 14% geo modifier); IA Stipend $2,080;
Sign-On Bonus $12,500.
Overview
We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician who supports the EC135 airframe and manages overall maintenance and safety for our fleet at Med-Trans Corporation. This role ensures timely, high‑quality transportation services and patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking log, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.
- Document service paperwork, FAA information, and comply with company policies and security standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
- Facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, AMTs, and operations team.
Required Qualifications
- EC135 maintenance experience
- Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with at least six months helicopter maintenance in the last 24 months
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
- EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support, and planning experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations
- Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program
- Capability to push/pull 100+ lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
- Experience under CFR Part 135
- Autopilot maintenance experience
- Avionics and electrical repair experience
