Automotive Service Technician

. Karch Auto is looking for an automotive technician for immediate hire! Preferably with 2 - 3 years experience and state and emissions inspection licenses. This position is full-time, flat rate (40 hours per week minimum). Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm with opportunity for overtime. A valid driver's license is required. No evenings or weekends required.

• Valid PA Safety and Emissions Inspection license required or in process of attaining one.
• Must have your own tools.
• Be able to work well with others, and be a team player.
• Must be capable of independently performing strategy-based diagnostics as well as major and minor mechanical repairs from engines to braking systems.
• Responsible for making repair estimates using computer-based repair order systems and presenting information to advisors and customers per request.

• 2-3 years of automotive technician experience (preferred).
• State and emissions inspection licenses (required or in process).
• Must have your own tools.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Capable of independently performing diagnostics and repairs on engines, braking systems, and other automotive systems.

• Wages vary with experience and knowledge.
• Health insurance, dental and vision, and holiday pay available after 90 days of employment.
• Vacation (40 hours) available 30 days after employment.
• PTO after one year of employment.
