Job Summary

Geisinger’s Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking an invasive or non-invasive cardiologist to join the Geisinger Gray’s Woods practice located in beautiful State College, Pennsylvania.

Geisinger is an Integrated Health System that cares for dynamic communities in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania. The Cardiovascular Division is focused on improving outcomes by leveraging our clinical expertise, data and experience in creating novel delivery systems.

State College, also known as “Happy Valley,” offers small-town charm with college town activities. The region boasts a vibrant nightlife, shopping, outdoor activities, and diverse restaurants. Activities range from mountain biking, golf, running, fishing, and skiing to arts and cultural events like dance, theater, festivals, and live music at The State Theatre, Tussey Mountain Amphitheater, and the Bryce Jordan Center. Enjoy the camaraderie of 9 cardiologists and advanced practitioners in an active practice at Geisinger Gray’s Woods with the support of one community-based hospital, Mount Nittany Medical Center. The fully equipped, state-of-the-art outpatient cardiac diagnostics labs include stress tests, echo, ambulatory monitoring, cardiac CT with FFR, and cardiac MRI. The practice boasts a large referral network of Geisinger primary care providers that provides a strong foundation to support a robust practice, while participating in a pleasant specialty practice atmosphere with 1:5 call coverage and inpatient hospitalist services.

Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine – (Required)
