University Libraries‑University Park Life Sciences Library seeks motivated and responsible individuals to provide reference desk and public services assistance.

• Reference assistance
• Circulation of reference items
• Maintenance of the overall appearance of the library
• Enforcement of University and Library policies
• Collection of data for various assessment types
• Shelving periodicals and filing reference materials
• Shelf reading and scanning of collections
• Other duties of a similar nature
• Applicants should have strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills

Applicants with a background in any of the life sciences are preferred. The position requires the ability to move throughout the library during a shift, including evening and weekend hours, and willingness to pick up open shifts.

Employment requires successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies.
