RVCC Adjunct Faculty Math

Job Opportunity

Location: River Valley Community College, Spring 2026. Only residents of New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island) are eligible.

Position: Mathematics Adjunct Instructor — teaching introductory statistics and mathematics courses from entry‑level through Calculus II in face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid formats with Canvas, Zoom, Desmos, CODAP, and other instructional technology.

• Develop and deliver course content for introductory statistics and mathematics courses.
• Use technology such as Canvas, Zoom, Desmos, CODAP, and other instructional software to enhance learning.
• Meet students in multiple modalities (face‑to‑face, online, hybrid).

• Master’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Prior teaching experience is required.

Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which reflects education and industry and/or teaching experience.
