Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced KINES Tutor to join our team! As a Tutor, you will assist students individually and possibly in small groups, helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and passionate about education.

Tutoring not only helps the students you work with, but also deepens your understanding of the material. It looks great on a resume and is very rewarding when your students achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Help a student learn Kines 350 at Penn State
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Offer guidance and support to improve students' test-taking skills
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in higher education teaching or tutoring is preferred
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject, with an A grade in the class
• GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Patience and motivation to help students achieve academic goals
