- Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data (lab/material test results, engineering design changes)
- Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics)
- Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis
- Provide technical support to engineers across a variety of tasks
- Help scope equipment for use and complete qualifications
- Support general lab functions — calibration, safety procedure implementation, routine equipment maintenance
- Notify manager/team lead of factors that may affect project timelines
- Help develop prototype processes and test set-ups
- Execute designed test protocols and conduct testing
- Document and communicate test results effectively
- Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.
- 4- 6 years of lab or regulated-environment technician experience (minimum); OR Bachelor of Science in a technical field with 1–2 years of lab/R&D experience (preferred path)
- Technical data collection and documentation
- Engineering reports, drawings, flow charts, and schematics
- Lab equipment calibration and maintenance
- Test protocol execution and prototype testing
Proficiency with personal computers - Ability to follow written procedures and work collaboratively in a team
- Cross-functional communication
- Ability to train lower-level technicians (a plus)
- High school diploma minimum;
Bachelor of Science in a technical area preferred - 4- 6 years lab/technician experience in a regulated environment (or BS + 1–2 years lab/R&D experience)
- Experience following written procedures and working within a team
- Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures
- Able to work onsite, 2nd shift, Mon–Fri
