RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Responsible for overall nursing practice during assigned shift under Unit Manager supervision

• Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge using the nursing process

• Preference given to candidates with EPIC patient charting experience

• Collect and analyze patient health data using appropriate assessment techniques

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with measurable outcomes

• Document patient responses and evaluate effectiveness of interventions

• Participate in quality of care activities and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain current knowledge through ongoing educational activities

• Complete and maintain Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (HCP BLS) certification within four months of probation end

• Practice according to "Code for Nurses" and "Patient's Bill of Rights"

• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• Demonstrate leadership skills including prioritizing and delegating patient care activities

• Participate in out-of-facility patient transport utilizing nursing process

• Meet specialty standards of nursing practice applicable to medical-surgical telemetry
