Certified Medical Assistant - CMA

Role: Certified Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting, providing top-quality care in ambulatory clinics.

• Obtaining and documenting patient information such as reason for visit, vital signs, medication review, and screening details.
• Preparing examination and treatment rooms, assisting patients with visits, and ensuring safety and privacy.
• Performing direct patient care tasks like EKGs, wound dressings, and supporting minor surgical procedures based on competency.
• Preparing and administering medications (excluding intravenous), collecting lab specimens, and performing phlebotomy.
• Supporting clerical duties such as scheduling, referral processing, co-payment collection, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Facilitating patient education, inventory management, instrument sterilization, and infection control protocols.
• Participating in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required, with certification from approved governing bodies.
• Competency in clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
