Electronic Assembler I performs a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations, including assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing of transducers. Demonstrates advanced sensor manufacturing skills and efficiently completes daily tasks according to standard times while maintaining product quality.
Responsibilities- Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Complete assignments that are moderately difficult, applying judgment for problem resolution.
- Manufacture and test sensors, and design/fabricate support tooling and assembly procedures.
- Act as a champion of lean and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure work orders are completed on schedule to maintain product flow and efficiencies.
- Advise management of adverse manufacturing and equipment conditions impacting production or safety.
- Identify overdue or potentially overdue work orders and alert managers.
- Provide NCM (non‑conforming material) notifications.
- Continuously review manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities.
- Cross‑train other assemblers and collaborate with the DENG and PENG groups.
Performance will be based on producing quality products in accordance with standards, meeting or improving standard times, following manufacturing procedures, accurately recording labor time in the MRP system, cleaning equipment, and participating in lean initiatives.
Requirements- High School Diploma.
- 2–4 years of related experience.
- Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Computer literacy and entry level knowledge of the MRP system.
