Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional weekends. Onsite, full‑time position.

Location: Indiana, PA.

Summary

Manage implementation of quality programs, policies, and procedures from a functional or technical perspective for a single site or multi‑sites within a region or division. Provide advisement to management staff on quality matters, regulatory compliance, performance, and data quality.

Compensation: $65,000 per year (base salary).

Essential Functions
  • Manages staff—including hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compensation recommendations.
  • Implies and manages quality processes, audits, and improvement programs to achieve desired results.
  • Provides input on policy and procedure development for the function or group.
  • Recommends improvements in organizational policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with leaders and staff on customer needs, business requirements, and performance metrics.
  • Resolves technical or sensitive quality problems, coordinating with internal and external groups.
  • Manages the group budget, allocating resources and approving expenditures.
  • Participates in special projects, identifies priorities, and evaluates results.
  • Maintains knowledge of quality regulations, industry trends, laws, and legislation.
  • Contributes to departmental efficiency by offering suggestions and active participation.
  • Promotes a harmonious workplace and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical.
Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field and three (3) years of quality experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Strong written English skills.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Mobility to work in a lab and office setting; use standard office and lab equipment; stamina to sit for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds occasionally or up to 10 pounds frequently; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; hearing and speech for communication.

Working Environment

Office setting with exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, noxious odors, and related items in a lab and sample setting.
