Raytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for First shift to maintain security of the facility and to ensure a safe environment for employees. You must have the ability to work independently and with a team. This position requires the that you work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays. You must also work overtime as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Operate a security control center by monitoring closed-circuit television, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies.
  • Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities.
  • Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks.
  • Open and close secure areas.
  • Process visitors in and out of the facility.
  • Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues.
Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 66,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
