A hospital-owned psychiatric facility is seeking a Hospitalist to oversee medical issues for inpatient units. This full-time role offers hospital benefits, including PTO, CME, malpractice coverage, and a competitive compensation plan. The Hospitalist will primarily manage chronic and low-acuity medical conditions, with no ICU responsibilities or procedures required.Job Description:

Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 8 AM-4:30 PM.
- Oversee a maximum census of 30 patients, with an average daily census in the low 20s.
- Manage chronic and low-acuity medical conditions such as URIs, UTIs, and other routine issues.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative documentation reviews to ensure compliance and quality care.
- Participate in morbidity and mortality committees and other Medical Staff Organization (MSO) meetings as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine.
- Active New York State Medical License required.
- Current ACLS or BLS Certification required.
