About Bridge Heart
Bridge Heart creates social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculums for schools. Our programs help students build self-esteem, healthy friendships, and safe, confident choices. We are a curriculum company, not a clinic. Our programs are educational and do not include therapy or counseling.
The role
You will teach Bridge Heart programs in school classrooms as one of our own licensed teachers. We provide the complete physical curriculum toolkit and the lesson materials, so you can spend your time with students. Our school partners also love that their own teachers need no prep. They can observe, take a breather, or join in.
What you'll do
- Travel to partner schools and teach our SEL modules, including the Core 4-Week Series, Friendships & Connection, and Prevention & Safety
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate group lessons using our toolkits
- Keep the classroom safe, respectful, and focused
- Build good relationships with school staff and administrators
- Show up prepared, on time, and professional at every session
What we're looking for
- A current teaching license
- Experience working with students in grades
- Comfort leading discussions on feelings, friendships, and safe choices
- Warmth, patience, and strong classroom management
- Willingness to complete a background check, which is required for every Bridge Heart instructor
- Reliable transportation to schools in [area]
