Job Summary: The Department of Clinical Sciences is now accepting applications for a pool of part‑time faculty to provide laboratory instruction for the 2025‑2026 academic year on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis.
Responsibilities- Assist supervising faculty in facilitating student learning in the respiratory therapy clinical setting.
- Supervise students at the clinical facility and demonstrate skills and affective behaviors appropriate to the discipline.
- Ensure student and patient safety, document and approve student time and attendance, and evaluate students’ clinical performance.
- Serve as liaison between the clinical practicum site and the university, providing regular updates on student performance.
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and an active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license.
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinical setting.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives, best‑practice instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Commensurate with experience. Exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
