The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies is now accepting applications for a pool of part‑time faculty positions for the academic year . These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis and are in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in the BA Philosophy program.
- May be asked to teach in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities.
- Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
MA or PhD in Philosophy or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience in undergraduate academic philosophy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service.
- Ability to support various constituencies served by the University.
- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and other applications as required for this position.
- Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet institutional goals and support the University’s mission for student success.
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
