      Job Summary

      The Department of Clinical Sciences is now accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty to provide instruction for the  academic year. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.

      Responsibilities

      Based on qualifications, the part time faculty will provide instruction in undergraduate or graduate level courses in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Undergraduate courses may include typical speech and language development, phonetics, American Sign Language, communication and deafness, introductory audiology, introductory aural rehabilitation, or clinical/professional writing. Graduate courses may include cognitive and linguistic foundations of language, fluency and fluency disorders, or aural rehabilitation.

      Courses are taught in a variety of delivery formats. Applicants hired to teach online courses must be willing to enroll in the online certification program offered by Georgia Southern University if not already certified to teach online. The position is a one semester/minimester appointment.
