Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Schedule:

Every other weekend, call required
Call: 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks (one must be a weekend shift)
Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient acuity
Unit Beds: 13

Role Overview :
The RN provides care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care. Responsibilities include monitoring and assisting laboring patients, triaging pregnancies 20 weeks and up, communicating with providers, and circulating in the OR for C-sections. No floating required. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, leadership, and clinical competency while supervising and delegating patient care priorities.
Requirements:

• 2+ years L&D experience

• 1+ completed travel assignment in L&D

• BLS, ACLS, NRP required

• EMR experience: CPN (GE) and Cerner preferred

• Must be able to pass an EKG
