Operating Room RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

• Proven experience in Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and OBGYN surgical cases

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• Strong clinical skills in critical thinking, communication, and teamwork

Key Responsibilities for OR RN

• Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotics, orthopedic, general, and OBGYN surgeries

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver top-quality patient care

• Prepare and maintain operating room equipment and surgical supplies

• Communicate effectively with patients' families and update physician preference cards

• Supervise and support clinical staff providing patient care in the operating room

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, AORN guidelines, and healthcare regulatory standards
