American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and prior successful travel contracts.

• Emergency Department setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• EMR system is Cerner
• Blocked scheduling will be attempted where possible while meeting weekend requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ESI Level 5 training required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• At least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Provide direct emergency department patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and outcomes
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in anticipating and planning safe emergency patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Navy scrub color required
• One major and one minor holiday coverage possible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
