Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Required | Schedule may vary based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a Med Surg and remote telemetry unit
- Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices with a patient ratio of 1:6–7
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Administer medications using bedside scanning technology
- Provide care for a diverse patient population including Med Surg, remote telemetry, orthopedic, post-op, CHF, and respiratory patients
- Float between the Med Surg and Telemetry departments as required
- Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum 2 completed travel assignments required
- Recent experience with Cerner EMR
- Experience with Med Surg patients and remote telemetry monitoring
- Experience with orthopedic, post-operative, CHF, or respiratory patient populations
- Familiarity with bedside medication scanning workflows
- Strong adaptability and comfort working in a high-volume unit (approximately 810 patient encounters per month)
- Immediate start available for a 13-week contract in a well-established acute care setting with a supportive interdisciplinary team
