Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value‑priced urban apparel industry.

• Process freight and manage inventory updates.
• Assist with price changes and markdowns.
• Balance the register according to company policy.
• Communicate prices to customers during register transactions.
• Baggage merchandise efficiently during customer transactions.
• Handle all cash, checks, and credit card transactions correctly and per company policy.
• Obtain management approval when needed for returns, voids, and checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide proper customer service, including greeting, following fitting‑room policies, ringing up customers in a timely fashion, thanking, and inviting them to return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Assist management with any tasks requested per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assist the Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
