Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our Team. This is a full-time role with an hourly wage plus commission opportunities.

$11.00 to $14.00 per hour

We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.17 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging with customers, resolving inquiries, and assisting with problem resolution across a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The final pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures and keeps the sales floor clean and stocked.
• Processes sales and loan transactions following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items according to policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Maintains effective communication with coworkers and managers; contributes to a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and performs other duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and perform duties for extended periods as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math; cash handling experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
