Job SummaryBuild, finish, inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain residential and commercial structures made of wood and other materials. Install cabinetry, siding, framing, trim, doors, and drywall.
Responsibilities- Perform various carpentry duties including framing and installing doors, windows, and walls.
- Stabilize structures.
- Complete minor roofing and roofing sub‑structure repairs.
- Install flooring (e.g., carpet, ceramic tile, cove base systems); perform only minor repairs.
- Install sheetrock, ceiling grids, and ceiling tiles.
- Work with other trades on assignments.
- Repair and reinforce furnishings, walls, and various structures.
- Remove moisture‑damaged materials and replace them.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) or more years of related work experience utilizing power tools and hand tools in a commercial or contracted construction setting.
- One (1) or more years of carpentry or construction work experience in a higher‑education setting.
- One (1) or more years of commercial construction experience.
- One (1) or more years of residential construction experience.
$19.15 – $23.97 per hour.
BenefitsThis is a non‑exempt position paid on a bi‑weekly basis.
