Job Overview

Steel Building Erector – Position located in Statesville, NC. Requires willingness to travel 3‑4 nights on some weeks.

• Build steel buildings onsite at customer locations across VA, WV, NC, SC, GA.
• Use measuring tools, layout, cut metal windows and siding.
• Travel to sites, work with little supervision.

• Capable of lifting at least 80 lb. multiple times daily.
• Comfortable working from ladders, roofs.
• Provide own hand tools.
• Travel time away varies weekly.
• Strong work ethic, adaptable, proficiency with accurate building layout preferred.

• Previous construction experience working with steel and metal roofing/siding preferred.
• Ability to bend, lift, reach, climb; physically taxing; notify us of any accommodation that may be needed.

• 30' tape measure, pencils, markers, speed square, tool belt, metal snips, cordless impact driver, chalk line, line level, utility knife.

Competitive salary:
Commission/Piece rate, starting pay $50k-$60k per year; potential earnings over $80k-$100k. 401(k) matching up to 4%, health, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, life insurance, HSA, paid time off.
