SPECIAL EDUCATION RESOURCE TEACHER

Location: Statesville, NC 28687

Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Setting: Elementary School

Pay Rate: $30–$40 per hour, plus benefits

Position Overview

ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time assignment in Statesville, North Carolina. This role supports elementary students through resource services focused on reading and core academic skills, in close collaboration with general education teachers and school support teams.

The specific responsibilities will be shaped in partnership with the school and aligned with your background, experience, and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resource support for students with IEPs, particularly in reading and core curriculum areas
  • Deliver small-group and individualized instruction aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and school staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Support inclusive practices and positive learning environments
Qualifications
  • Valid North Carolina Special Education credential
  • Experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills
  • Collaborative, student-centered approach
