Electrical Engineer

AUTEC Car Wash Systems is looking for a practical, hands-on Electrical Engineer to help design, build, and support the systems that power our automated car wash equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, creating reliable designs, and supporting manufacturing and service teams to keep products running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Design and test electrical control systems (PLCs, VFDs, relays, timers, etc.)
• Create and maintain schematics, BOMs, manuals, and troubleshooting guides
• Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and ladder logic
• Support manufacturing teams and field technicians with technical issue resolution
• Research and source components for continuous improvement and cost efficiency
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and updates

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or Associate’s with strong related experience)
• Experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, or GE PLCs and related programming
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar
• Understanding of AC/DC circuits, wire harness design, motion control, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
