This is an entry-level position with an excellent opportunity to start or advance your surveying and engineering career. You'll be trained by experienced surveyors and engineers on state-of-the-art equipment.

Jordan Grant & Associates is a surveying and civil engineering company looking for a new CAD Technician (Entry Level) to join our team.

Our philosophy: produce an excellent job for the client, with an emphasis on honesty and integrity, and bring a positive attitude to every project.

• Use Carlson Software, AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software to complete assignments on time and to Jordan Grant standards.
• Produce project drawings including ALTA surveys, final plats, maps of dedication, plot plans, construction layout and construction staking.
• Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents and condo documents.
• Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities and clients.
• Communicate with project managers, field crews and team leaders on workflow status.

• High school diploma; familiarity with CAD procedures preferred.
• Survey or civil engineering CAD experience preferred but not required.
• Good interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.
• Valid driver's license.
