Live and work in beautiful North Carolina! Statesville is located on the north end of the highly sought after Lake Norman area.

• The Audiologist is responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests that allow the differentiation between types of hearing disorders for pediatric and adult patients
• The Audiologist will provide hearing aid testing, selection, and fitting to all populations
• The Audiologist will counsel patients regarding test results and review options that best meet their hearing care needs
• Interpret the results of hearing evaluation data within the context of the patient's perceptual, social, and communicative needs
• Review pricing and sell hearing aids as a part of the patient education process
• Provide amplification services including hearing aid assessment testing
• Coordinate care with physicians and other providers
• Make recommendations regarding hearing care options
• Provide hearing aid dispensing, including selection, fitting, ear-mold acoustics, ongoing management with follow-up and education
• Develop a rational treatment and monitoring plan with the patient and/or caregivers, including the use of amplification, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling as indicated.

• Masters or AuD Degree in Audiology
• Current NC License or ability to obtain a NC license
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population
• Strong audiology diagnostic and hearing aid software and equipment experience
• Ability to organize time and prioritize numerous duties
• Ability to handle numerous interruptions
• Provides customers care in a kind, professional, and ethical manner
• Must be detail oriented
• Understand the otologic and neurological diagnostic processes enough to obtain audiological information that will be used to help the physician distinguish between competing etiological entities in a given patient
