HR Recruiting Service is a national staffing company specializing in permanent full time placements and contract hires.
Job DescriptionAs a Lean Six Sigma Project Champion, this position ensures that our clients' Lean Six Sigma projects are selected, initiated, and completed (and the associated savings realized) in a timely manner.
This position will also be responsible for personally completing the most difficult projects that have high potential returns. The position is expected to save and/or coordinate savings of at least $250-$500k annually.
Principal Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the company-wide Lean Six Sigma Strategy.
- Areas of Focus:
Reliability Growth, Operations LSS Support, Business Process. - Lead the identification and selection of Green/Black Belt candidates and matching those candidates to the projects identified with the site Lean Six Sigma steering committee, both during the candidates' training, certification, and post-certification periods.
- Accurate analysis of financial impact of project savings that can be supported by Site Controllers.
- Lead Functional/Site LSS Steering Committee.
- Identify and lead the most difficult cross-functional projects that have high potential returns and major process improvements.
- Lead Green & Black Belt Training, Consulting, Coaching, Problem-Solving, Mentoring, and Leadership services as required to ensure the successful completion of Lean Six Sigma Green & Black Belt projects.
- Build competencies in the use of Lean Sigma quantitative tools across Bobcat Facilities by ensuring that Green & Black Belts use the appropriate tools accurately.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Prior demonstrated quality improvement management.
- Strong demonstrated influencing skills.
- Ability to work at all levels of the organization.
- Strong process orientation to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to develop, recruit, and retain strong support staff.
- Ability to train in LSS processes/tools.
- At least two years' experience with profit/loss operations responsibility required.
