Coaching associates to meet quality, cost, delivery, morale, and safety (QCDMS) targets in compliance with the quality policy and continuously working for associate’s success.
Major Responsibilities- Coordinate production to meet required schedules.
- Control 5M changes – investigate problems/processes; notify affected departments and implement appropriate action.
- Troubleshoot and fix machine problems.
- Conduct daily start‑up meetings with associates to communicate expectations and strategy.
- Monitor production start‑up for abnormal conditions and take appropriate action when needed.
- Verify quality of product and associate work.
- Responsible for training and development of associates.
- Maintain daily and monthly charts, graphs, and reports.
- Maintain subordinates' documentation on timesheets, attendance, corrective actions, etc.
- Establish and maintain operator instructions.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed.
- Use Associate Success Center to implement kaizens using the PDCA method.
- Complete daily log book with details and strategy for the next shift.
- Review, correct, and approve associate timecards within respective areas.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Assist with the company management style to promote ownership by all associates.
- Act as a key member of Employee Involvement, promoting good morale, pride, and ethics throughout DMNC.
- Directly supervise departmental line keepers and associates within respective areas.
- Promote and participate in company activities such as IATF
16949, ISO
9001, ISO
14001 and Employee Involvement. - Ensure effective communication with team members, internal departments, and related outside resources in both written and oral formats.
- Apply company policies and procedures fairly to all employees.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Maintain 5’s standards: good housing and housekeeping.
- May require some travel.
- Recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and efficiency through continual improvement.
- Coordinate establishment of production goals within respective area.
- May require shift work & overtime to support area of responsibility as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (must fulfil NC State or Federal educational requirements).
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Prefer a 2- or 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience.
- Proficient math and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Effective verbal, listening and communication skills.
- Leadership and coaching skills.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ethical conduct.
- Investigative, troubleshooting and analytical skills to evaluate problems/processes and take necessary action to support subordinates.
Requires constant standing and moving 8–12 hours per day; able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.; bend, stoop, squat and kneel; apply up to 66 lbs push/pull force unassisted; reach overhead.

Annual Salary: $60,000 – $75,000
Additional Compensation:
Shift Premium, Straight Time Pay
