Additive Technician (Overnight Shift-Weekdays) at ADDMAN

We are looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician. In this role you will set up, operate, clean, and maintain additive machines to assure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve high utilization. At ADDMAN you’ll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of additive manufacturing.

The shift for this role is an overnight weekday shift working 4 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday. Start time is between 8pm and 10pm.

• Set up, operate and perform daily as well as preventative maintenance on additive manufacturing machines.
• Strictly adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use precision measuring instruments i.e. calipers, micrometers, gage pins, height gages, dial indicators, and precision scales.
• Change out equipment to different materials and calibrate equipment.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 standard and comply with internal quality standards.
• Proper disposal of hazardous waste.
• Accurately read and record information (e.g., material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) critical to the production process.
• Handle inventory and maintain internal MOQs for frequently used materials.
• Part breakouts as related to MJF build units and adherence to tight scheduling.
• Vapor smoothing setups and operation, as well as fixturing parts for smoothing.
• Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties; maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. citizen status.

• Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations.
• Works independently, strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time.
• Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts.

• 2-5 years of working in a precision CNC machining, additive, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous aerospace quality experience.
• Experience with manufacturing / CNC machining processes.

• The position requires exposure to manufacturing areas with use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.
• Ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms (including above shoulder height and below the waist); climb/balance; stoop, kneel, crouch/bend, or crawl; talk or hear; and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.
