Mechanical Assembler

Our client is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to assemble components according to blueprint specifications, using precision measurement tools for assembly of industrial mobile equipment. Come work for a North American manufacturer of mobile shredding equipment known for their robust engineering for commercial shredding. • Build inverse, assemble truck bodies and equipment
• Mechanical assembly of multiple truck body components
• Measure, align, drill, bolt, screw and rivet components
• Use hand and power tools properly and safely
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemblies
• Build, assemble mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Hydraulic hose assembly
• QA sign‑off of properly completed tasks
• Track job time and complete daily timecards
• Service projects and repairs as requested by shop foreman
• Other duties as requested by shop foreman

• College Diploma, or equivalent
• Millwright Certification or Electrician Certification or Industrial Electrician Certification or equivalent
• 3+ years Mechanical Assembly experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience using hand and power tools such as levels, tape measures, drills and taps, saws, hammers
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assemblies
