Overview
Position:
Freight/Receiving at The Home Depot in Statesville, NC. The role ensures the store is stocked and ready for business each day. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, moving material from receiving to the sales floor, operating forklifts as needed, and maintaining accurate on-hand counts and pricing. Direct customer interaction is frequently required, with strong customer service skills expected. Roles may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
- Load and unload trucks and move materials from receiving areas throughout the store
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
- Maintain proper on-hands and pricing for customers
- Provide direct customer service and assistance on the floor
- Support various Freight/Receiving positions as assigned
