- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers Class 8 Commercial Trailers
- Write detailed work orders – working In Yard and Shop
- Provide quality customer service
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial trailer bodies, systems, and components
- Perform preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers
- Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required
- Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts, including tires
- Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system
- Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
- Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation’s road safety requirements
- Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management
- Respond as soon as possible to client queries
- 3+ years of verified experience of Trailer repair experience + welding/fabrication work is a must
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
- Experience with welding, certification a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical school degree, a plus
- Class A CDL. Your own tools

Fleet Mobile Maintenance (FMM) offers mobile preventative maintenance and mechanical repair, tire replacement, and trailer repair services. FMM serves the Southeast corridor of Michigan—including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Lansing, and Flint—as well as Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and Nashville. We strive to be the best service provider in the country by following DOT standards and putting customers’ needs first. Our on‑site service eliminates costly downtime and moving equipment.
